The CSSB approved an exposure draft proposing amendments to CSDS 2, Climate-related Disclosures, to correspond with the ISSB’s final amendments to IFRS S2. The Board also approved its 2025-2026 Performance Report, its 2026-2027 Annual Plan, and proposed changes to the Terms of Reference for the Sustainability Standards Advisory Committee and the Sustainability Technical and Implementation Advisory Committee. On October 29, 2025, the Canadian Sustainability Standards Board (CSSB) met virtually to discuss the feedback analysis and recommendations relating to the International Sustainability Standards Board’s SASB Standards Enhancement Project. The CSSB reviewed its “Commitment to Indigenous Peoples” statement and received an update on work relating to the ongoing effort to enhance outreach and communication with Indigenous Peoples.

On August 27, 2025, the CSSB met virtually to discuss the creation of two external advisory committees, the 2025-2028 Strategic Plan and accompanying Feeback Statement, updates on the Indigenous Peoples Priority Committee, and the consultation on the Proposed Enhancements to the SASB Standards. On June 19, 2025, the Canadian Sustainability Standards Board (CSSB) met virtually for final deliberations on the feedback from the 2025-2028 Strategic Plan consultation.
