PSAB recently approved the proposal for the second standard-level project to implement the Government Not-for-Profit Strategy. To keep you updated on the progress of the strategy implementation, we hosted a webinar.

In our webinar, we discussed the following topics:

  • A review of the key amendments to Section PS 3150, Tangible Capital Assets, as a result of incorporating Section PS 4230, Capital Assets Held by Not-for-Profit organizations, and Section PS 4240, Collections Held by Not-for-Profit Organizations.
  • An overview of the Contributions and Financial Statement Presentation project, which will incorporate Section PS 4200, Financial Statement Presentation by Not-for-Profit Organizations, Section PS 4210, Contributions – Revenue Recognition,  Section PS 4220, Contributions Receivable, and Section PS 4270, Disclosure of Allocated Expenses by Not-for-Profit Organizations, into the Public Sector Accounting Handbook.
