Prior to his appointment as Chair, Andrew was a Partner, Audit at KPMG, with more than 30 years of experience advising governments, Crown corporations, Indigenous organizations, educational institutions, hospitals and not-for-profit organizations across Canada. Andrew’s firm leadership roles included Ottawa Office Managing Partner, and National Leader of KPMG’s Canadian Education Practice.
Andrew previously served on the Public Sector Accounting Board from 2008 to 2020, including two terms as Vice-Chair, and was the inaugural Chair of the Public Sector Accounting Discussion Group from 2014 to 2020.
Andrew is a Fellow of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario in recognition of his service in the Canadian public sector. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from Queen’s University and an Executive Certificate in Advancing Sustainability from New York University.
