Mihaela Stefanov is Special Projects Lead in Asset Management for North America at Boralex. Previously, she was Senior Vice-President, Enterprise Risk Management and Corporate Social Responsibility, a role she held from 2023 and 2026, leading the company’s efforts to monitor and manage risk exposure in an increasingly complex energy landscape.
Since 2021, she has also played a pivotal role in shaping and deploying Boralex’s corporate social responsibility strategy, helping position the company as a recognized leader in its sector.
Before joining Boralex, she built deep expertise in sustainability and extra-financial risk management through roles in both consulting and the natural resources industry.
She holds an MBA from HEC Montréal and an Honours Bachelor’s degree in economics from McGill University.
