Adelaide Chiu joined Beutel Goodman in 2026 and has over 25 years of investment management experience, including more than a decade focused on sustainable investing. As Vice President of Responsible Investing, she oversees the firm’s responsible investing strategy including the integration of environmental, social, and governance considerations across all asset classes and investment processes.
Prior to joining Beutel Goodman, Adelaide served as Vice President & Portfolio Manager, Head of Responsible Investing at NEI Investments and previously managed global portfolios at OMERS and Mackenzie Investments. She is an inaugural member of the Canadian Sustainability Standards Board and co-chairs its Sustainability Standards Advisory Council. She has previously served as a board director of the Responsible Investment Association, chaired the Responsible Investing Working Group of the Securities and Investment Management Association, and been a member of Climate Engagement Canada’s Technical Committee. She is also a mentor for VersaFi (formerly WCM) and CPA Ontario.
Adelaide holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Toronto. She is a Fellow Chartered Professional Accountant (FCPA, FCA), CFA charterholder, and holds the Fundamentals of Sustainability Accounting (FSA) certification offered by the IFRS Foundation.
