Joint Policy Statement Concerning Communications between Actuaries Involved in the Preparation of Financial Statements and Auditors (JPS)

The Joint Policy Statement, effective for communications between the auditor and the actuary initiated on or after March 31, 2023, has been approved by the Canadian Actuarial Standards Board and by the Auditing and Assurance Standards Board. Early application is permitted. The JPS will be appended to CAS 500, Audit Evidence.
