Guylaine Leclerc is recognized as a leader and visionary within the accounting profession. Currently, Guylaine is serving a 10-year term as the Auditor General of Quebec, a position she was unanimously appointed to in 2015. 

Prior to her appointment as the Auditor General, Guylaine founded the largest independent investigative and forensic account firm in Québec in the 2000s, serving as a managing partner and a special advisor until 2009. In 2011, Guylaine joined the Paris-based financial firm Accuracy as the Managing Partner and led the firm’s expansion outside Europe. She opened the firm’s first two offices in Québec – one in Montréal and one in Québec City. Guylaine oversaw their activities until her appointment as Auditor General. 

A true pioneer in her field, Ms. Leclerc is one of the founding members of the Alliance for Excellence in Investigative and Forensic Accounting, created by the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants. She has testified in court as an expert on numerous occasions and lectured at several conferences on controls, auditing, fraud, and corruption. Guylaine has a strong knowledge of government administration and has carried out many engagements on compliance and control process assessment, as well as financial investigations in departments, government agencies, and state-owned enterprises.
