IFRS Foundation staff have issued a Project Summary that provides an overview of research considered by the IASB from 2014 to 2017 on Discount Rates in IFRS Standards. On January 15, 2019, the AcSB responded to the International Accounting Standards Board’s (IASB) Discussion Paper, “Financial Instruments with Characteristics of Equity”, which seeks to address the current application challenges with IAS 32 Financial Instruments: Presentation.
