Meghan Mason is the Senior Manager of Consolidations and Financial Reporting at J. D. Irving, Limited, a large private company in New Brunswick. She has over 15 years’ experience in accounting and finance. As part of her current role, she is responsible for the audited financial statements and implementing accounting standards for all the companies, which operate in several different industries. Meghan brings her experience as a financial statement preparer with broad industry sector knowledge of ASPE, IFRS® Accounting Standards, U. S. GAAP, and Pension Plans to the Accounting Standards Board.
Meghan began her career as a student working at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (PwC) in advisory and audit and obtained her CPA, CA designation. She then moved from public practice to industry, working in various accounting and finance management positions in the media and forestry sectors.
