Crystal Cruickshank is currently Chief Financial Officer of Eden Health Care Services, comprising six not-for-profit organizations that provide services (i.e., hospital-based psychiatric care, community mental health, housing, mental health support, counselling, and employment) across three geographic locations in southern Manitoba and the Eden Foundation.
Most of her 20-plus years in accounting were with BDO Canada, where she was the Accounting and Assurance Specialist. Her areas of expertise include the not-for-profit, agriculture, and manufacturing sectors.
She has served on the Accounting Standards Board’s Not-For-Profit Advisory Committee since 2020. She is passionate about contributing to both her local and global community, which is evident through her involvement with her local health care board, church, pregnancy care centre, youth drop-in centre, and past service on medical missions to impoverished communities in Mexico and Africa.
