Chris Kovalchuk

Chris Kovalchuk is a Portfolio Manager at Claret Asset Management Corporation. He is responsible for managing investment portfolios for high-net-worth individuals, families, trusts, corporations, and non-profit foundations across Canada.

Chris plays a key role in Claret’s independent fundamental research process, applying his deep accounting expertise to evaluate the impact of changing accounting standards on financial results, management discussion and analysis disclosures, and key performance indicators. He has developed a range of financial models, both quantitative and fundamental, to streamline the analysis of potential investments.

Chris is a CFA charterholder with an MBA in Investment Management from Concordia University’s John Molson School of Business. He continues to actively mentor and coach students in finance and business strategy for case competitions.
