Miville Tremblay

Miville Tremblay is a Senior Fellow at the C.D. Howe Institute and Invited Fellow at the Center for Interuniversity Research and Analysis of Organizations. He is a regular op-ed contributor for La Presse and a board member of the Autorité des marchés financiers. He retired from the Bank of Canada where he was a Senior Director, Regional Representative, and a member of the Bank’s Monetary Policy Review Committee.

Previously, Miville worked at the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec in Montreal as Director of Strategic Intelligence. He has long been a financial journalist, particularly for La Presse. At the start of his career, Miville taught Canadian politics at the State University of New York. He is also the author of two books on finance and business. 

Miville has received numerous distinctions, such as the Atkinson Fellowship in Public Policy and the Prix du livre d’affaires PricewaterhouseCoopers. He is an active volunteer, previously acting as Chair of CFA Montréal and Chair of the Accounting Standards Oversight Council.
