The IFRS Interpretations Committee Member Support Group supports the Canadian member(s) of the IASB’s IFRS Interpretations Committee (IFRIC) by providing Canadian views, insights, analysis and background on implementation issues.
The Group consists of:
- a Chair, who is a Canadian member of the IASB’s IFRS Interpretations Committee; and
- 6-8 members comprised primarily of auditors of financial statements prepared in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards.
In addition to members, the AcSB’s Chair, AcSB’s IFRS Discussion Group Chair, and/or Director, Accounting Standards, attend the Group’s conference calls.
