Janet Grove is a corporate lawyer and partner at Norton Rose Fulbright Canada LLP. Janet was previously managing partner of Vancouver based law firm, Bull, Housser & Tupper LLP and led Bull, Housser in its merger discussions with Norton Rose. She then served as managing partner of Norton Rose’s Vancouver office until her term expired at the end of 2019. She was named one of Canada Top 100 Most Powerful Women in 2017 by Women’s Executive Network and appointed Queen’s Counsel in 2020.

Janet is on the board of Genome BC and is a director of a private biotechnology company dedicated to developing novel therapies for triple negative breast cancer. She is also a former Chair and director of St. John Ambulance Vancouver Branch and a former director of Canadian Business for Social Responsibility.

In 2000, Janet joined the legal team at a Canadian biotechnology company listed on the TSX and NASDAQ, where she was a member of the company’s executive management team. She held a number of roles, including the position of Vice-President and Corporate Counsel, Corporate Secretary, and Business Ethics Officer. She returned to private practice in 2008, where she has continued to help clients with her wide-ranging experience in the biotechnology and technology sectors.
