Jean Jen is a senior finance professional with over 13 years of finance and accounting experience working with hyper growth companies in the life sciences and technology sectors, through both industry and public practice. She brings a wealth of experience from working with companies that report under ASPE, IFRS, and U.S. GAAP, as well as experience with Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICOFR) and Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) compliance.
Jean started her career with KPMG in the audit and advisory practices, including one year in forensic accounting. She is currently working as an executive consultant for various publicly listed and private/pre-IPO companies.
Jean is a CPA, CA and holds a Master of Professional Accounting (MPAcc) degree from the University of Saskatchewan. Jean was also a shortlisted nominee for Accountancy Leader of the Year by Women in Finance, Canada in 2019.
