About the Agriculture Advisory Group
The Accounting Standards Board (AcSB) established the Agriculture Advisory Group in April 2017 to provide advice to the AcSB on its project to develop authoritative guidance related to the accounting for biological assets and agricultural produce.
The Group consists of:
- a Chair, who is a member of the AcSB; and
- 15 to 20 other members with a range of backgrounds and experience including farmers, preparers, practitioners, users, government employees and an academic.

The Group is expected to meet approximately four times in 2017. Meetings are not open to the public. A summary of discussions of each Group meeting will be made available shortly after each meeting.
